Passion quite obviously is set to follow in the footsteps of her legendary dam.  During her central mare inspection in 2008 she still lacked maturity, but revealed her quality to experts' eyes and was given premium score.  At age four she worked her way forward presenting an excellent foal and taking her mare performance test with outstanding scores, thus being appointed Verband Premium mare and State Premium candidate.  During the VII. Bavarian Broodmare Show in Mainburg she became an effortless age class champion, was a member of the winning mare family and was choosen second reserve champion of the whole show.

Passion's sire In Flagranti stems from a real elite dynasty.  Foundation mare Italia continued the success story of the huge Scharffetter stud of Kallwischken here in Western Germany.  Her daughters Ideale and Ilona as well as her son Impuls stamped the postwar Trakehner breed and even nowadays the Trakehner breed could hardly do without Scharffetter horses.  The shining chestnut In Flagranti, one of five outstanding full siblings that resulted from mating Hörem's top progenitor Buddenbrock to Kennedy's elite daughter Insterfee, was proclaimed winner of his licensing in 2003 and took part in Bundeschampionat several times.  Schooled by Friederike Schulz-Wallner the stallion stationed at Bavarian State Stud Schwaiganger made an impressive career: Up to now, In Flagranti has been winning dressage contests up to advanced level (S**).

In Flagranti also seems to be a big success in Trakehner and Bavarian breeding, many of his young offspring prove to be well rideable.  Since the end of the show season 2009, In Flagranti took his place among Germany's top 1% of dressage horse producers according to breeding evaluation figures.

Passion's dam Per Du is the "grand old lady" of our barn - this self-bred Unkensee daughter brought us so much success in sports and breed.  You will find more information about Per Du on her own page.

Passion started her broodmare career in 2009 with a great foal:
PrSt. P.S. I Love You by Hibiskus
P1 by Kentucky
PrSt. Paradise by Hibiskus

Without further ado we decided to change plans for Passion - instead of kicking off her career in sports we made up our minds for another foal.  The reason: licensing champion Kentucky, who conviced us of being the perfect match for Passion ...
